Not too much to report, we've been working a ton on the house. John's been putting in a lot of sweaty work scrubbing the basement flooring, ripping out overgrown bushes, re-staining the front door, installing a new dishwasher, moving boxes down to the storage room in the basement and cleaning out the garage. He's starting to finally feel settled. Its funny what each of us needs to feel settled. For me it was getting everything out of the moving boxes and finding a proper home for them. Then getting some pictures on the walls and accessorizing a bit. For John it was all the manly stuff of organizing the garage, tools, making sure that little fix-it jobs were done. Now, we BOTH are starting to breathe and relax into our new home.

We are really enjoying the wildlife in our backyard. Last week John looked out the window and saw a coyote carrying a dead-bird, we've also seen several deer, we have a resident bunny rabbit in our yard and lots of pretty cranes flying overhead. Everyday John or I say at some point, "I just LOVE our house". Its such a nice feeling to be so content with where you live.

We are getting everything ready for our trip out to Utah next week, CAN'T WAIT!!! But, here are some pictures that I've taken lately. On Memorial Day, we went and checked out the Auto Museum that's closeby. It was pretty spectacular, they have a TON of amazing old cars, old military vehicles, and old celebrity/movie cars. Even for a non-car appreciator, it was really cool!

These were just a series of cute pictures that I took the last time we went out to dinner.

The red you see on her mouth is a red chip she was munching on. :)

Today was fun because we drove to a nearby town to check out this iron-works shop that people have told us about, and when we got there we found out that we were there for their city days, which are their annual "Milk Days", so we stayed for awhile and had fun at the parade. :)

There's a fun "Splash Pad" at a park close to our house, lots of fun!
