Camping in Mesa Verde

Mesa Verde has kind of, a sacred feel to it. It's at the top of a mountain with tons of ruins tucked underneath the rims of the canyon.

John and I were able to climb down and investigate the ruins. They had rooms buried under the ground floor, this is me climbing back out.

We do love to camp!

Anyone thirsty????

We also stopped by "Four Corners" -- Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah. As John and I drove for hours out in the dusty netherlands of the desert, we finally found a dusty dirt road that led us out to the Four Corners monument. This is part of an indian reservation. We were saddened to see that the indian reservations truly sit upon the dusty, deserty parts of the US.
